livstolkingsplurale skolesituasjonen elevene møter i KRL-faget.
undervisningen i faget.
| no_NO |
dc.description.abstract | English: The background for this report is the religious and philosophical plurality
that elementary school pupils meet in the subject of KRL. In KRL, which is
compulsory for all Norwegian pupils, the pupils are exposed to teaching about
different religions and non-religious philosophies of life. In 1999 some parents
instituted legal proceedings against the Norwegian state on grounds of the abolition of
the former clause of exemption. The concern of the parents were that their children
would loose their own religious and philosophical identity when they meet the
religious and philosophical plurality of the syllabus of KRL.
The questions this report sets out to answer are: How do pupils use stories from
different religions and non-religious philosophies of life, which they meet in KRLlessons,
in their work with their religious and philosophical identities? Do they use
stories from their own religious and philosophical traditions differently from stories of
other traditions in their identitywork? Do meetings with plurality confuse or disturb
their religious and philosophical identities?
Lied has looked for answers to these questions in utterances - verbal texts, drawings
and multimodal utterances - made by pupils in interaction with stories from different
religions and non-religious world views that they meet in KRL-lessons. The utterances
are analyzed with regard to the pupils’ values and attitudes, their identity work and
their process of socialization. The analyses, results and interpretation of the results are
presented in this report. | |
