Abstract

Det å filme alene – Lage dokumentar alene Egen produksjon: Dokumentarfilmen ”Elite – Et lite stykke Metal-Norge” Denne bachelor-oppgaven i digital medieproduksjon omhandler videojournalistens, fordeler og ulemper, samt problemstillingen ”hvordan lage en dokumentarfilm alene”. Rapportens første del inneholder teori om videojournalisten, dokumentarfilm, journalistikk og filmanalyse som metode. Den andre delen er selve analysen. Her diskuteres de ulike sidene ved problemstillingen og her vurderer jeg egen produksjon opp mot teorien. Enkelte stedet vil jeg sammenligne dokumentaren min med den andre lange dokumentaren jeg har lagd. Den sistnevnte heter ”Når Sneen Faller” og handler om juleøl-dagen og alkoholmisbruk i Danmark. Denne dokumentaren ble produsert av et filmteam bestående av meg og fire andre. I den tredje og siste delen beskriver jeg den praktiske prosessen med en dokumentarfilm laget av en VJ. Her baserer jeg diskusjonen på eksempler fra dokumentaren ”Elite – Et lite stykke Metal-Norge”. Til slutt oppsummerer jeg de funnene jeg har gjort med tanke på fordeler, ulemper og hva som er viktig å tenke på når man lager en dokumentarfilm alene. Engelsk sammendrag (abstract): Single Shooting – The making of a documentary alone My poduction: Documentary film "Elite - A small metal-band in Norway". This bachelor in digital media production deals with video journalism, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the problem "how to make a documentary alone." This report's first part contains the theory of journalism, video journalism (m/k), documentary and film analysis method. The second part is the analysis itself. Here I discuss the various aspects of the problem and consider my own production to the theory. Some place I will compare my documentary with the other documentary that I've made, called "When the snow Falling" and is about Christmas beer and alcohol abuse in Denmark. This documentary was produced by a film crew of five persons. In the third and final section, I describe the practical process of a documentary made by a VJ. Here I base the discussion on examples from the documentary "Elite - A small metal-band in Norway". Finally, I summarize the findings I have made in terms of advantages, disadvantages and what is important to consider when making a documentary film alone.
