Abstract

Denne teksten er en skriftlig gjennomgang av tre problemstillinger. Her gir vi et innblikk i popluærmusikken og dens historie med et lite dypdykk i moderne pop og med fokus på Dr. Lukes produksjoner og Serban Gheneas miksemetoder. I utredelsen av problemstillingene går vi i dybden på teori rundt emnene, samt gir et innblikk i hvordan vi knytter teori mot praksis. Disse utredelsene er også grunnlaget bak gjennomføring av låtene. Til slutt konkluderer vi problemstillingene og reflekterer over det praktiske arbeidet med oppgaven.

Summary This text is a written review of three main topics. We give the reader an insight into popular music and its history, with a small excursion into contemporary pop by focusing on Dr. Lukes productions and Serban Gheneas mixing methods. In this report we og in depth on theory about the topics, and we relate theory to practice. These conclusions are also the basis behind the implementation of the tracks. Finally, we reflect on the practical work and conclude about each of our topics.
