Handelslekkasje fra Rendalen : undersøkelse av innbyggernes innkjøpsvaner

Abstract

Norsk: Denne rapporten ble skrevet på oppdrag fra Stor-Elvdal Næringsforening. I en telefonundersøkelse der omtrent 10% av kommunens husholdninger deltok fikk man opplysninger om innbyggernes innkjøpsvaner. Det ble estimert at det totale nivået på handelslekkasjen er på ca 30 millioner kroner. Mens dagligvarer kjøpes hovedsakelig i Rendalen reiser man utenfor kommunen for å handle andre varer. Totalt sett er Tynset den viktigste handelsdestinasjon mens en del innbyggere særlig fra den sørlige delen av kommunen handler på Elverum. Klær, skotøy og møbler er de viktigste varegruppene som kjøpes utenfor kommunen.

English: This report is written on behalf of the municipality of Stor-Elvdal’s Næringsforening. Approximately 10% of the municipality’s households participated in the survey and information about the inhabitants’ shopping habits was gathered through phone interviews. It was estimated that the total value of the trade leak amounts to ca NOK 30 million. While one purchases household articles primarily in Rendalen, one purchases other goods outside the municipality. Generally speaking Tynset is the main trade destination while some inhabitants especially those from the southern part of the municipality shop in Elverum. Cloth, footwear and furniture are the most important commodities inhabitants buy outside the municipality.
