I have compared the degree of damage on the dorsal fin with: daynumber, condition, length, total amount of salmon louse, loss of scales and louse-index, to see if there is a connection. The data is collected using fish traps on the west coast of Hordaland, and the Fensfjord. I found that the longer fish had higher degree of dorsal-fin damage. And that the degree of dor-sal-fin damage was lower later in the year. There was also higher degree of damage on fish with high louseindex, as well as fish with high amount of louse. I found no correlation be-tween damage-degree, and condition and loss of scales. I also looked at the geographical distribution of dorsal-fin damage. This data is collected dur-ing the count of spawners in the rivers which leads to the Hardangerfjord and is collected by Uni Research Miljø, in the time period 2007-2015. I have compared the percentage of fish with dorsal-fin damage with a gradient along the Hardangerfjord. I found that the percentage went down 0,53% for every kilometer further in the fjord you got. This could be a result of higher inflow of freshwater and fewer fish-farms, and therefore worse living conditions for the salmon louse.nb_NO
