Bacheloroppgave i barnehagelærerutdanning, Høgskolen i Innlandet, 2017.nb_NO
English: The theme of the bachelor assignment is math in the kindergarten. There has been more focus on mathematics, and an increased focus on science. Through the problem, "In what ways does kindergarten staff work with mathematics in planned mathematical learning situations and how does the interaction between children and adults be visible?" I want to look into the role of the staff in the interaction and learning situations with the children. In my task, I intend to include Bruner, Vygotsky and Piaget as key theorists for children's learning and the interaction is also highlighted through these. I have looked at different learning situations and see that the children are allowed to participate in their learning choices. Gelman and Gallistel's counting principles have been highlighted as central to how children acquire the different counting principles. My findings in the assignment are based on qualitative data retrieval through interview and observation. The purpose of the assignment has been to see different learning situations in the kindergarten, and to increase the maths pleasure and the interaction between the children and the staff.nb_NO
