Omsorg og læring i barnehagen.

Abstract

Norsk: Problemstillingen min er følgende: Hvordan er omsorg og læring skrevet frem i det nye høringsutkastet til Rammeplanen? Jeg har lest og analysert høringsutkastet til den nye rammeplanen. Jeg har analysert kritisk hvordan høringsutkastet skriver frem begrepene omsorg og læring. Jeg har igjennom arbeidet funnet ut at svært mange kjente teoretikere er kritiske til at læring har fått en stor plass i barnehagen. Men også mange uttaler seg om at læring er en helt sentral del av barndommen og hører derfor med i barnehagen. Jeg har sett på omsorg og læring fra ulike perspektiver, og analysert høringsutkastet igjennom disse tre kategoriene: «Helhetlig læringssyn», «omsorg og læring nevnt med andre ord» og «omsorg og læring står alene». Jeg har kommet frem til igjennom analysen min at omsorg og læring skrives frem igjennom et helthetlig syn, hvor de begge står så å si likestilte.

English: The main question addressed in my thesis is: How are the themes care and welfare versus learning weighted and positioned relative to each other in the new discussion document for the new nursery school Framework plan? I have read and analyzed the discussion paper, focusing specifically on the descriptions of the themes care/welfare versus learning. I have also studied other sources for comments and discussions on the discussion paper in general, and care and learning in particular. This work has revealed that many professionals hold the opinion that learning has been given too prominent a position. At the same time, many also hold the opposite view and say that learning is an essential part of childhood, and deserves it place in pre-school. I have studied care and learning from different angles, and analyzed the discussion paper from three different perspectives. My main conclusion is that care and learning are presented as elements in a holistic description of their role in tomorrow’s nursery school, with equal weight and importance.
