Abstract
Many universities have decided to use various learning Platforms in order to foster the learning capability for students and to improve the teaching processes for faculty staff. Based on qualitative case studies conducted at two Norwegian universities, this paper intends to delineate a general framework outlining the challenges, issues and opportunities in using a Learning Management System (LMS) and more specifically the Fronter platform.
