English: Based on the themes of outdoor education and adaptive learning, the objective of this bachelor thesis is to answer the research question «What inhibits and promotes the use of outdoor education to implement adaptive learning for all students in school? ». Through interviews with two teachers and two principals I have got an impression of what could be possible answers to the research question. The findings show that it is primarily the teacher who is the key factor for conducting outdoor education; both the teacher's desire and interest, but also the teacher's competence in running outdoor education, and the teacher's willingness to change their own practices. The findings also show that the school grounds, lack of time, the students’ outerwear, lack of equipment, cooperation with the parents, the feeling of chaos outside the classroom, teachers' work and school management priorities are obstacles. Still, outdoor education opens opportunities to enhance the theoretical subjects because the students are able to learn by doing practical tasks and use different kinds of learning aids. Outdoor education also creates stronger relations, and opens up for developing the student’s social and emotional learning. These factors promote the use of outdoor education to implement adaptive learning.nb_NO
