Implementering av LP-modellen. Evaluering av arbeidet med LPmodellen 2007–2009 (LP-2)

Abstract

Norsk: I denne forskningsrapporten presenteres resultater fra arbeidet med LP-modellen i perioden 2007–2009. Høsten 2007 ble LP-modellen implementert i 27 skoler i 11 kommuner i Norge. Lillegården kompetansesenter har hatt ansvaret for opplæring og implementering av LP-modellen, mens Høgskolen i Hedmark har gjennomført evalueringen av dette utviklingsarbeidet. Målet med evalueringen er å gi en oversikt over hvilke resultater LP-skolene har oppnådd i prosjektperioden, samt å kartlegge kvaliteten på arbeidet med å implementere LP-modellen. Den kvantitative evalueringen dreier seg om resultater fra to kartleggingsundersøkelser. Den første ble gjennomført høsten 2007, der skolene fikk et bilde på hvordan situasjonen var før arbeidet med LP startet innenfor områder knyttet til læringsmiljøet og elevenes læringsutbytte. Den andre kartleggingen som ble foretatt våren 2009 viste hvilken endring eller utvikling som hadde skjedd fra den første til den andre kartleggingen. Høsten 2009 ble det også foretatt en kartlegging av hvordan arbeidet med implementering hadde blitt gjennomført på LP-skolene. Av 27 skoler har 14 skoler deltatt i denne evalueringen av arbeidet med implementering av LP-modellen. Resultatene fra de kvantitative kartleggingsundersøkelsene viser at det har vært en positiv utvikling innenfor flere områder i LP-skolene. Særlig er dette synlig på de lærervurderte områdene. De uttrykker at de har fått en mer strukturert undervisning, et mer positivt elevsyn, en økende trivsel på arbeidsplassen og skolekulturen generelt har blitt forbedret. Størst positiv endring finner vi innenfor området der lærerne vurderer sin relasjon til elevene. Når det gjelder vurderingene som er knyttet opp mot elevene så finner vi ingen markante endringer, men det er en utelukkende positiv utvikling, selv om den er noe varierende. Resultatet fra arbeidet med implementeringen av LP-modellen viser at det er mindre variasjon mellom skolenes arbeid med implementering av modellen enn resultatene fra LP-1 viste. Resultatene viser at skoleeier nivået opplever å ha gjennomført en tilfredsstillende implementering, de har prioritert og støtte skolene i sitt arbeid. De er også godt fornøyd med den opplæring som er gitt, men resultatet viser at LP-modellen ikke er godt nok forankret i organisasjonen. På skolenivået viser evalueringen at bare 2 av 14 skoler kan sies å ha hatt en svak implementering, de resterende 12 skoler har, om enn noe ulikt, hatt en god implementering, men også her viser resultatet at LP-modellen ikke er godt nok forankret i skolen som organisasjon.

English: In this research report results from the work with the LP-model from 2007 to 2009 will be presented. In the fall 2007, the LP-model was implemented in 27 schools placed in 11 municipalities in Norway. Lillegården Resource Center has been responsible for the implementation process, while Hedmark Community College has carried out the evaluation. This evaluation is aimed to give a general picture of what results the schools have achieved during the project periode, and to chart the quality of the implementational work. The quantitative evaluation presents results from two survey investigations. The first survey that was carried out in the fall 2007 presented to the schools how their situation was, before working with the LP-model, within areas connected to learning environment and the students´ learning profit. The other survey that was carried out in the spring 2009 presented the change or development between the two surveys. In the fall 2009 a third survey of how the implementational work had been carried out in the LP-schools was made. 14 of the 27 schools participated in this evaulation of the implementation process. The results from the quantitative survey investigations show that there has been a positive development within several areas in the LP-schools. This development is especially visible in the teachers´ evaluations. They express that they have achieved a more structured teaching situation, a more positive view of the students, an increased job satisfaction and a general improvement in the school culture. The positive development is significant within the area where the teachers evaluate the relations between themselves and the students. There are no significant changes in the evaluations connected to the students, however there is an exclusively positive development even though it might be of some variation. The results from the implementational work with the LP-model views less variation between the schools´ work with the implementation than what the results from LP-1 viewed. The results view that the school owners experience to have completed a satisfying implementation. They have prioritized and supported the schools in their work. They are also satisfied with the teaching that has been given, but the results reveal that the LP-model is to loosely rooted in the organization. The evaluation from the schools shows that only 2 out of 14 schools can document a weak implementation. The remaining 12 schools have, with some variation, had a good implementation, but again the results reveal that the LP-model should have been deeper rooted in the schools.
