Fra ulltråder til hyperlenker – rapport fra prosjektet «Hypertekst på ungdomstrinnet»

Abstract

Norsk: Rapporten gjelder et FoU-prosjekt der ansatte ved Avdeling for lærerutdanning ved Høgskolen i Hedmark samarbeidet med en ungdomsskoleklasse og to av klassens lærere. Som rapporttittelen forteller, var temaet for prosjektet den teksttypen vi blant annet møter på Verdensveven (World Wide Web) på Internett, altså en vev av nettsider som er koblet til hverandre elektronisk slik at man kan bevege seg mellom dem ved å klikke på uthevete ord, symboler eller lignende. Elevene arbeidet med slike tekster både som tekstlesere og som tekstprodusenter, og hovedmålet med prosjektet var å bidra til å bidra til å utvikle lærerutdanningens og grunnskolens faglige og didaktiske kompetanse når det gjelder hypertekster så vel i et praktisk som i et analytisk perspektiv. Rapporten gjør rede for bakgrunnen for prosjektet, den oppfatning av hypertekst-begrepet som ble lagt til grunn, de pedagogiske hovedtankene bak prosjektet og selve prosjektgjennomføringen inklusive kartlegging av elevenes IKT-forutsetninger ved prosjektstart og ferdighetene, kunnskapene og holdningene elevene hadde ved avslutningen av prosjektet.

English: This report concerns a research and development project where personnel at the Faculty of Teacher Education, Hedmark University College, worked with a class in a lower secondary school and two of the teachers in that class. As evident from the project title, the topic of the project was the type of text that we first of all meet on World Wide Web on the Internet – that is a network of pages linked together electronically so that we can move between them by clicking on specially marked words, symbols etc. The students worked with such texts both as text readers and text producers, and the main goal of the project was to contribute to the development of both the theoretical and didactic competence in teacher education and the 10-year compulsory school with regards to hypertext in a practical as well as an analytic perspective. The report covers the background for the project, the interpretation of the concept of hypertext on which it was based, the pedagogical ideas behind and the carrying through of the project – including an investigation of the skills, knowledge and atttitudes the students had at the beginning and at the end of the project.
