Abstract
Norsk:

Denne oppgaven redegjør for hva skolen kan gjøre for barn som er blitt utsatt for seksuelle

overgrep. Rettigheter og lover legger føringer på at skolen har et stort ansvar ovenfor

barnet. For å besvare problemstillingen ble det foretatt en empirisk undersøkelse i form av

et kvalitativt forskningsintervju, der materialet består av tre informanter. Oppgaven drøfter

det empiriske materialet opp mot teori..

Flere av skolens ledere synes å ha lite fokus på å gi ansatte i skolen kunnskap om seksuelle

overgrep, noe staten påstår er obligatorisk. Det synes også at skolen gir lite kunnskap om

dette i barneskolen for elevene. Det er heller ikke utarbeidet egne beredskapsplaner direkte

knyttet mot seksuelle overgrep. Skolene har flere gode tiltak for psykisk helse, og skolene

synes å samarbeide godt med andre instanser og tilrettelegger ved behov. Vi ser at skolen

både har mangler og tiltak mot barn som blir utsatt for seksuelle overgrep

This thesis will look into what educational institutions can do for children who have experienced sexual abuse. Different laws and regulations tend to imply that the schools have a responsibility towards the children. In order to answer this, I have conducted empirical research through research interviews. The material is based on three different interviewees with different backgrounds and experiences. This thesis investigates the relationship between theory and the material gathered from the empirical research. Top management at schools seem to have little focus on giving employees information about sexual abuse. This is according to the State mandatory, but not the reality. In terms of the students, they are also not given information on the topic. There is a lack of contingency plans directly targeted towards sexual abuse. The schools have several measures directed towards psychological health, and they seem to work well together with different agencies and institutions on this topic. We see that the school has shortcomings and generally lacks procedures towards children that have experienced sexual abuse.
