Abstract

Ett- og toåringene er en voksende barnegruppe i barnehagen (Statistisk Sentralbyrå [SSB], 2012). Viktigheten av god tilvenning blir derfor et sentralt tema i barnehagene fremover. Abrahamsen sier at kunnskap er sentralt for å øke kvaliteten i barnehagene (2015, s.107). Det er derfor essensielt at personalet har kunnskap om hva ett- og toåringene har behov for, for å få en god tilvenning. Gjennom intervju med to barnehagelærere og to assistenter har jeg trukket frem faktorer de mener skal til for å tilrettelegge for god tilvenning for ett- og toåringene. De kom frem til at kunnskap om tilknytnings teorier, omsorg, relasjoner, trygghet og foreldresamarbeid er viktige faktorer for å skape gode tilvenninger for ett- og toåringene.

One and two year olds are a growing group in kindergartens (Statistisk Sentralbyrå [SSB], 2012). The importance of a good adjustment period becomes a key theme in kindergarten in the future. Abrahamsen says that knowledge is central for increasing quality in kindergarten (2015, s. 107). It is therefore essential that the staff have knowledge of what the one and two year olds need to get a good adjustment period. Through an interview with two kindergarten teachers and two assistants, I have highlighted the factors they believe it will help to improvised good adjustment period for the one and two year olds. They came to the conclusion that knowledge about attachment theory’s, care, relationships, safety and parenting cooperation are important factors in creating a good adjustment period for one and two year olds.
