Inkludering og de stille barna.

Abstract

Norsk: I denne oppgaven har jeg jobbet ut fra problemstillingen min: Hvordan oppfatter barnehagepersonalet begrepet inkludering, og hvordan overføres denne kunnskapen til arbeidet med de stille barna? Jeg har belyst teori innenfor inkludering, barnehagepersonalets rolle og de stille barna. Videre har jeg undersøkt to barnehager i form av intervju av to pedagogiske ledere og to assistenter. Jeg har drøftet teorien opp mot resultatene fra intervjuene, for å finne svar på problemstillingen. Jeg fant at barnehagepersonalets rolle har en stor betydning når det gjelder både inkludering og arbeidet med de stille barna. Man har et stort ansvar som innebærer å se alle barna for den de er, og særlig med tanke på de stille barna som ofte får lite oppmerksomhet i forhold til andre barn.

English: In this thesis, I have worked out of my research question: How do kindergarten staff understand the concept of inclusion and how does this knowledge transfer to the work of the silent children? I have highlighted the theory of inclusion, the kindergarten staff and the quiet children. In addition, I have examined two kindergartens in the form of interviews by two educational leaders and two assistants. I have discussed the theory against the results of the interviews, to find answers to the research question. I found that the role of kindergarten staff is significant in terms of both inclusion and the work of the quiet children. One has a great responsibility to see all the children for who they are, and especially in view of the quiet children who often receive little attention over other children.
