Abstract
Norsk:

I denne oppgaven har jeg gjennom kvalitativ forsking, forsøkt å svare på problemstillingen min: ”Hvordan sikrer lærerne tilpasset opplæring i aldersblanda klasser?”. Gjennom intervju og observasjon av tre lærere i 1.-4.-klasse, har jeg samlet mye empiri til oppgaven. I oppgaven presenterer jeg relevant teori om tilpasset opplæring og fådelt skole. Jeg ser på funnene mine og drøfter de opp mot teorien. Funnene mine viser at på denne skolen gir tilpasset opplæring til elevene gjennom et godt klassemiljø, fokus på god læringsdialog og variasjon i undervisningsformer. Forskingen min viser at fordelene av å være aldersblanda, var svært mange flere enn utfordringene. Jeg konkluderer med at elevene får tilstrekkelig tilpasset opplæring i aldersblanda klasser.
 
English:

In this assignment I have through qualitative research attempted to answer my question: "How do teachers ensure adapted education in multi-aged classes?" Through interview and observation of three teachers in the 1st to 4th grade, I have gathered a lot of empirical work for the assignment. In the thesis I present relevant theory of adapted education and multiaged classes. My findings show that at this school, adapted education provides students with a good classroom environment, focus on good learning dialogue and variety in teaching methods. My research shows that the benefits of being in multi-aged classes were very many more than the challenges. I conclude that the students get adequately adapted education in multi-aged classes.
