Abstract

Norsk: Denne bacheloroppgaven har som formål å undersøke hvorvidt en religiøs overbevisning kan påvirke identitetsdannelse med tv-serien Skam sesong 4 som referanse. Oppgaven vil derfor presentere et utvalg teori som presenterer ulike tilnærminger til begrepet identitet, spesielt sett i sammenheng med religion og skam. Deretter vil tre utvalgte sekvenser fra Skam sesong 4 analyseres med bakgrunn i den presenterte teorien. Til slutt drøftes funnene fra analysen og deres relevans for skolen og lærerrollen. Her blir spesielt synet på identitet som noe komplekst og dynamisk fremtredende, samt synet på religion som en ressurs i skolen.

English: This bachelors-degree is addressing the relationship between identity and religion regarding the tv-series Skam season 4. The paper will present a selection of theory, which discusses identity in relation to religion. A theory of the feeling of shame or guilt in relation to identity and religion will also be discussed. Following, three sections from the series Skam will be analysed with the foundation of the theory. Then, I will discuss what the analysis showed us and what value these findings have for school and the teachers-role. Here aspects of identity such as it being dynamic and complex will be highlighted, in addition to the perspective of religion as a resource in school.
