Abstract
Norsk:

This paper is based on the research question: ”How can digital tools be used to develop the students’s oral skills in english”

The paper studies how three teachers at a secondary school uses digital tools to develop the students’s oral skills in english, and discusses their methods in light of theories concerning how we learn language and motivation. Through interviews with the teachers it is brought to light that they mainly use digital tools with the purpose of bringing variation to their lessons. Based on theory this paper tries to find further reasons for using digital tools, asking questions about how and why we should use them.
