Samtalekultur under måltidet i barnehagen.

Abstract

Norsk: I min bacheloroppgave ønsker jeg å finne ut hvilke samtalekulturer vi finner i barnehagen under måltidsituasjonene. Jeg vil undersøke hvordan barn inviteres inn i samtaler og hvilke strategier de voksne bruker til det. Kapittel 1 er en innledning til tema. Her vil jeg belyse valg av tema og hvorfor jeg har valgt å skrive om dette. Kapittel 2 omhandler den teoretiske forankringen oppgaven skrives på. Jeg vil i lys av teori og faglitteratur løfte frem perspektiver på ulike samtalemønstre og læringspotensialet i samtaler i lys av en sosiokulturell læringsteori. Kapittel 3 presenterer jeg ulike metoder som kvalitativ og kvantitativ, og hvorfor jeg velger å bruke observasjon som metode. Kapittel 4 handler om presentasjon av datainnsamlingen og drøfting rundt denne. Mine funn om situasjonsavhengig- og uavhengig språk, og kognitivt utviklende samtaler vil bli løftet frem i lys av teori. I kapittel 5 vil jeg avslutningsvis presentere refleksjoner og tanker rundt selve oppgaven, om jeg mener problemstillingen er blitt besvart.

English: In my bachelor thesis I want to find out which conversation cultures we find in kindergarten during the meal situations. I wanted to find out how children are invited into conversations and what strategies the adults use. Chapter 1 is an introduction to the topic. Here I will highlight the choice of topic and why I have chosen to write about this. Chapter 2 presents theory. I will in the light of theory and literature highlight perspectives on different conversation patterns and learning potential of conversation in light of a sociocultural learning theory. Chapter 3 presents different methods such as qualitative and quantitative, and why I choose to use observation as my method. Chapter 4 is all about presentation of data collection and discussion around this. My findings about present- and non-present talk, and cognitively stimulating conversations will be presented in light of theory. In Chapter 5, I will conclude by presenting reflections and thoughts about the project, and if I answered my question: “Which conversation cultures do we find during mealtimes in the kindergarten?”
