Samarbeid mellom foreldre og barnehage - til barnets beste.

Abstract

Norsk: Problemstillingen i dette litteraturstudiet er å undersøke hva barnehagen kan gjøre for å ivareta samarbeidet med foreldrene. For at samarbeidet mellom foreldre og barnehage blir til barnets beste, er det viktig at foreldrene involveres slik at de kan ha en nøkkelposisjon med hensyn til barnets utvikling. Barnehagen har et spesielt ansvar for å legge til rette for dette. Felles aktivitet, kommunikasjon og informasjon er nyttige verktøy for å skape tettere bånd mellom barnehagen og foreldrene. Kulturen i den enkelte barnehagen må være basert på oppdatert kunnskap, og de ansatte må være i stand til å reflektere over egne handlinger og holdninger. Forholdet mellom barnehage og foreldrene må være basert på et likeverdig forhold og en profesjonell tilrettelegging for konfliktløsing. Barnehageloven, rammeplanen og barnehagens egne vedtekter er eksempler på nyttige styringsdokumenter i foreldresamarbeidet. Lykkes samarbeidet mellom foreldre og barnehagen ligger det til rette for at barnet trives og føler stabilitet og sammenheng i eget liv – og kan selv bli et aktivt deltakende menneske i morgendagens samfunn.

English: The matter at hand in this literature study is to examine what the kindergarten can do to preserve the cooperation with the parents. For the cooperation between parents and kindergarten to be in the best interest of the children, it’s important that the parents gets involved, so they can have a key position in regards to the child’s development. The kindergarten has a special responsibility to facilitate this cooperation. The culture in the given kindergarten must be based on knowledge that is up to date, and the employees must be able to reflect on their own actions and attitudes. The relationship between the kindergarten and the parents must be based on an equal relationship, and a professional facilitation towards conflict solving. Barnehageloven, Rammeplanen and the kindergartens own statutes are examples of useful documents of management in regards to the cooperation with the parents. If the cooperation between parents and the kindergarten is successful, the wellbeing of the child is facilitated, and the child may feel stability and coherency in its own life – then it may become a participating human itself in the society of tomorrow.
